RECORDINGS:

ABOUT TIME - My newest recording features 13 original compositions - six of them are pure percussion pieces (frame drums, darabuka, udu, riq, djembe, caxixi, and more). The other seven tracks feature very special musical guests - Sara Nasr (voice), François Coté (tenor recorder), Ariana Nasr (violin), and Ade Suparman (kacapi and suling).

SEKAR ALIT - My third recording features 12 new compositions for Indonesian Gamelan. The CD features resonant, meditative music played on the beautiful bronze instruments of a Central Javanese pelog Gamelan - large and medium-sized gongs, metallophones, and gong-chimes.

NONAGON - My second recording features a dynamic set of multi-layered world drumming compositions highlighting doumbek, frame drums, kanjira, tabla, riq, jawharp, shakers and more. Inspired by rhythms from South India, the Middle East, North Africa and Eastern Europe, Nonagon is a richly textured blend of meditative and upbeat grooves. 9 tracks.

WATERWHEEL - My debut recording combines the improvisation of jazz, the lyricism of classical, and the rhythmic drive of world music. These three traditions come together on ten original tunes to form an exciting and spontaneous blend. In addition to myself playing a wide assortment of hand drums, John Scott and Don Palmer are featured on cello and soprano sax.
